Supporting Youth and Women Around Volcanoes National Park
As part of our commitment to giving back, we selected motivated youth and women from communities surrounding Volcanoes National Park who are ready to transform their lives through skills development.
One participants received sponsorship support from the luxury Singita Lodge, allowing them to take part in a three-month training program with Beyond the Gorillas Experience. The training focused on tourism, hospitality, confidence-building, and professional growth.
A Farewell Cultural Night in Kinigi
To celebrate the completion of this important training journey, a farewell cultural night was held at the tourist information center managed by Beyond the Gorillas Experience in Kinigi.
The evening brought together trainees, community members, invited speakers, and supporters in a warm celebration of culture, food, and inspiration. Guests enjoyed a traditional yam barbecue with various meats, fresh organic local meals, banana beer, and natural juice.
The event was not only a celebration, but also a moment of encouragement. Inspiring speakers shared powerful messages with the trainees, reminding them to continue developing their skills, believe in their potential, and take an active role in shaping the future of Rwanda’s tourism industry.
