Activities
Itinerary:
- 8:00 AM - Meet your guide at the designated meeting point in Karongi, on the shore of Lake Kivu.
- 8:15 AM - Board the boat and set off on your adventure.
- 8:30 AM - Start bird watching as you cruise along the lake, accompanied by an experienced guide who will point out different
species of birds and provide interesting facts about their behavior and habitats. - 9:30 AM - Arrive at Napoleon Island and disembark for a guided hike. The hike will take you through lush vegetation and up to the top of the island, where you will have stunning views of the surrounding lake and hills.
- 11:00 AM - Return to the boat and head to a nearby fishing village. Here, you will learn about traditional fishing techniques and try your hand at catching some of the lake's freshwater fish.
